Då finns Beyond The Black som har släppt den finfina plattan Lost in forever.
De kom från ingenstans och släppte debutalbumet Songs of love and death i februari förra året. Plattan togs emot väl i Tyskland där bandet, som består av Jennifer Haben, Nils Lesser, Christopher Hummels, Tobias Derer, Erwin Schmidt och Michael Hauser, bildades (i Mannheim) 2014. Beyond The Blacks symfonimetal gick onekligen hem.
Men skulle de kunna göra en lika bra platta redan ett år senare?
Det skulle Beyond The Black absolut kunna göra. Plattan Lost in forever är inte alls dum. Det finns 13 låtar på plattan. Alla är bra.
Det börjar väldigt bra med titelspåret Lost in forever. Jennifer Haben på sång skojar man inte bort. Imponerande var ordet.

Andraspåret är plattans höjdpunkt. Jennifer Haben gör duetten Beautiful lies tillsammans med Rick Altzi. Det blir makalöst bra.

Det blir lite tyngre i Written in blood och gitarrerna är grymt sköna. Tyngre, men lika melodiöst.
Against the world är som en skön ballad med akustiska gitarrer (till en början) där det blir en mäktig refräng.

They can’t stop us now

Som femte låt kommer Beyond the mirror. Den är lika bra som de tidigare låtarna. Och vi är inte ens halvvägs in på plattan …
Halo of the dark är en annan höjdare.

To break out of the dark
Det är också en låt som börjar lugnt för att sedan sätta fart. Plattan fortsätter sedan med:

Det är bra hela vägen. Det enda jag inte gillar är det där skrikandet som dyker upp på någon låt, men det är så lite att jag kan låtsas att jag inte hör det …
