I ärlighetens namn så var jag inte speciellt imponerad av Into the wild efter den första lyssningen.
Men det var något som som gjorde att jag ändå ville fortsätta lyssna och efter att ha låtit EP:n snurra två-tre gånger till så kan man konstatera att det första intrycket var åt helsike.
Det här är låtar som växer och växer. Into the wild är helt klart en bra EP.

Det blir ett himla gott gung direkt. Vi får titelspåret Into the wild som bjuder på en musikalisk lekfullhet som man inte hittar var som helst.

Bästa spåret är förmodligen Piece of you där vi får fantastisk sköna gitarrer. Indiepotrumpeterna gör inte saken sämre …

En låt som heter Thomas måste ju vara lysande … Här får vi lite skönt pianoklinkande och lite härlig poppoesi.

Complete surrender och Louise rundar av en bra EP och man märker att Kataokas har blivit fler, svängigare och säkrare i jämförelse med plattan Anthesis.
Into the wild släpps den 11 maj.
